Facilitated by: Marcia Nicole, RECE, OCT, MPED, PhD (Student) Pedagogy isn’t a program, it’s a living part of who we are as educators. It grows with experience, research, reflection, and the diverse learners in front of us. In this session, we explore the many faces of pedagogy and how educators can intentionally shape their own approach in ways that feel authentic, responsive, and grounded in professional judgement. Together, we look at how values guide decisions, how curriculum is interpreted through personal lens, and how pedagogy evolves over time especially as we learn more, try more, and reflect more. This workshop invites educators to discover (or rediscover) their pedagogical identity, deepen their practice, share what works, explore new approaches, and build learning environments where both children and adults thrive. Marcia Nicole brings over 20 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator, leader, and advocate for diversity and inclusion. She holds advanced degrees in Early Childhood Education and is a certified OCT. As the founder of Ispyr to Educate, Marcia is deeply committed to creating spaces where every educator and learner feels valued, respected, and empowered. Her leadership work focuses on inspiring early childhood professionals to lead with authenticity, foster inclusive classrooms, and build equitable communities. Through her work as a part-time faculty member, mentor, and host of The Inspiring ECE Podcast, Marcia champions a future where educators thrive.
