Intro to Silkscreen (One Day Intensive) Saturday, July 25, 2026 11am to 4pm with artist Amye St John $75 plus tax Interested in screen but intimidated by the process? In this workshop, you'll receive an intensive introduction to emulsion-based silkscreen and demystify the practice so you can do it at home. Learn what you need to know about the basic set-up and supplies, coating and exposing screens, as well as pulling a basic one-layer print. All supplies, including screens to use in class are provided. Students can bring their own drawings ready to expose, or use provided templates to just get the hang of the process. Drawings should not have an image size bigger than 7" x 10" and should be black and white only, no tones or shadows. Perfect for beginners or printmakers who need a refresher. Suitable for older teens and adults. **studio rentals available to folks who have completed this workshop with us as their print experience. Please note that as of January 2025, masks are now optional in the studio. You may still be asked to wear a mask while using certain materials for your own safety. Please stay home or wear a well-fitted N95 mask if you feel like you may have some symptons of illness. inPrint is located at 58 Wade Ave, Unit 8a. The closest subway station is Lansdowne Station, with available paid parking on the east side of the station. At this time, inPrint's studio is not mobility-friendly. REFUND POLICY: Refunds available up to 48 hours prior to class start. We will also refund day of ONLY in the case of illness (honour system, thanks!), but you must tell us same day with an email prior to the start of class. We will also refund in the case of our own cancelations. No refunds or credits if you no-show without notice indicated here. Missed classes in multi-day courses do not qualify for discounts/refunds.
