Pronto Plates: Alternative Litho Sunday April 19 2026 10am to 2pm with artist Amye St John $75 plus tax Students will have the opportunity to learn about an alternative and non-toxic lithography printing technique in this workshop. Replacing the traditional stone with a thin, clay-coated plastic sheet, students can replicate lithography style printing without the need for acids or solvents. You can create prints using a photograph as well as drawing with oily materials. Students can bring in an image to print on a plate as well as experiment with direct drawing to create unique lithography prints. You will learn to prepare your plate for print by using water and ink before printing your image using our printing presses. This method can be a bit fickle but fun, so inPrint is here to help!
