Soft-Cover Journals Sunday, August 16, 2026 11am to 3pm with Maureen Da Silva $75 plus tax Let's build a book together! In this workshop, we'll take a more focused look at making sketchbooks or art journals, via soft-cover sewing methods that are recreatable at home with just the basic bookbinding supplies. We'll explore a couple of stab-bound options (1 basic, 1 advanced) while playing with cover-options, and also complete a small French-sewn book with multiple signatures. Participants will complete a total of three books to take home. If we end up with extra time in class, this time can be used to keep practicing your new skills and take home more books! This class is perfect for those who have taken our Intro to Soft Cover class but is also fine for absolute beginners. All materials provided. Suitable for older teens and adults. Masks are optional in the studio, but please wear a mask if you are feeling sick. REFUND POLICY: We will refund you if you need to cancel 48 hours prior to class start. We will also refund day of ONLY in the case of illness, but you must tell us same day.
