Darryl Aspin of Hitcher fame made his mark captivating audiences in the Durham Region with his strong vocal ability and high-energy performances. Behind Darryl is a band of talented musicians, including guitarist Mike Rewegen, drummer Seth McNamara, firefighter and bassist Stephen Reid, and on lead guitar, Mike Marinuk — after six years as a founding member of another Ontario Hip tribute — now showcasing his abilities with performances identical to the albums and live recordings. Drawing on his experience in previous projects, Mike has also helped shape a concert experience that goes beyond the music itself, adding a visual element that deepens the connection to the songs. For many, The Tragically Hip was the ultimate live band — their music carried an energy and presence that could only be felt in person.
