A classically trained pianist, Gowan achieved an ARCT from Torontos Royal Conservatory of Music at just 19. His breakthrough album Strange Animal went triple platinum in Canada, featuring the enduring hit A Criminal Mind, which won the Juno Award for Best Video. Gowans recordings include collaborations with members of Yes, Rush, King Crimson, and Peter Gabriel.
